These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of lightningreviews.ca and to the services provided by Lightning Reviews, operated by William Langdon, doing business as Lightning Reviews, in Ontario, Canada ("Lightning Reviews", "we", "us"). By using our website or buying our services, you ("you", "Client") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
We provide NFC review cards, automated review-request text messages and emails, and related review-management services that help businesses ask customers for Google reviews. The specific services, pricing, and billing cycle are set out in your quote, invoice, or signup page.
3. ACCOUNTS AND ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping any login details secure.
4. PAYMENT
- Fees are listed in your quote, invoice, or signup page, in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise, plus applicable taxes.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number.
- Recurring services renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
- If a payment fails or is more than 14 days overdue, we may pause or suspend your services until your account is up to date.
- Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law, or where we agree otherwise in writing. Physical products (such as review cards) cannot be returned once programmed or shipped, unless they are defective.
5. CANCELLATION
You may cancel recurring services at any time by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may end or suspend your services if you break these Terms.
6. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
By using our services, you confirm and agree that:
- You will only send review requests to people who have bought from you or dealt with you, and you have the right to contact them.
- You will follow Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and any other law that applies to messages and personal information.
- You will not filter or block negative feedback from reaching Google, offer rewards, discounts, or payment in exchange for reviews, post fake reviews, or ask only for positive reviews.
- You will follow Google's review and business profile policies.
- You will not use our services for anything unlawful, misleading, abusive, or harmful.
You are responsible for the content of messages sent in your name and for the contact lists you provide.
